Psst… Want to Ace Your Next International Job Interview? Let’s Talk Study Strategy!
Hey friend,
Ever feel overwhelmed by the HUGE amount of tech out there when prepping for interviews? It’s like trying to boil the ocean, right? Especially when aiming for international jobs!
So, how do you pick the right things to study? Here’s the secret sauce:
- Become a Job Description Detective: Don’t just skim those job descriptions – really analyze them! Look for recurring themes and technologies. Those are your golden tickets.
- Turn Interviews into Intel: Even if you don’t land the job, interviews are GOLDMINES of info. Pay attention to the tech they ask about, and any gaps in your knowledge they point out. That’s direct feedback on what to study next!
- Timeboxing is Your Superpower: We don’t have infinite time (sadly!). Pick ONE topic at a time. Spend 1-2 hours getting the basics down. Write code, break things, and push it to GitHub. Hands-on is key!
Remember, you don’t need to be a walking encyclopedia. Focus on the fundamentals of in-demand technologies, and you’ll be well on your way to interview success!
Now go get ’em!
Best,
Pedro Cavaléro
